Prosecco Biologico DOC Staffilo is produced with organically grown grapes only. The fine perlage and the straw-yellow colour give it a pleasant appearance, the floral notes of acacia, broom and gentian a soft and light taste. We recommend to serve our Prosecco at a temperature of about 8-10° C. In addition, We suggest the pairing with risottos, seafood and shellfish, singular dishes which match Staffilo’s light, savoury and persistent taste.

Organic Wine: The ultimate choice

The organic method’s application brings a significant added value to the production of quality wines and is a clear sign of a greater awareness of local heritage’s protection. Our grapes’ care is focused, unlike what is done by firms which don’t apply the organic method, on the abolition of pesticides which tend to disrupt and damage the natural balance needed to produce the best fruits of the land.

Once the grapes have reached organoleptic maturity, the harvest takes place in mid-September and the vinification process, in compliance with the parameters established by the regulations issued by the Protection Consortium, doesn’t include partial cold concentration or the elimination of sulphur dioxide using physical procedures, so as to offer wines of higher quality and which have a positive impact on people’s health.

Organic Agricolture

The firm’s choice to adopt organic agriculture’s methods is the consequence of the will to safeguard and enhance natural sources, providing a healthy consumption option to people.

Our organic wine comes from a grape-growing method which respects the dictates contained in EC Regulations 834/07 and 889/08, under which synthetic chemical products in the vineyard are abolished, as they tend to weaken and affect the balance required to produce outstanding grapes.

In addition, the new EU Regulation has come into force since 1 August 2012. It details organic winemaking techniques and oenological helps and allows the label to state “organic wine”, replacing the previous “wine made from organic grapes”.
