IGT
The term IGT describes a type of certified wine, in fact the acronym means ``typical geographical indication``. The abbreviation IGT is synonymous with guarantee. Before being branded IGT, Merlot is scrupulously controlled and must necessarily satisfy certain characteristics, established by specific laws and regulations. The typical geographical indication refers to the region in which the Merlot is produced. In many cases, these are large areas clearly demarcated by regional borders.

Staffilo is a Merlot Veneto IGT made from 100% organically grown grapes. The application of the organic method, through the abolition of pesticides and techniques such as partial cold concentration, helps to maintain the natural balance of the environment and gives the taste softness, harmony and freshness.
